The bug.
LOCSTOC connected brand owners, neighbourhood retailers and consumers through a model that combined digital commerce with physical stores. Each audience had different needs. The challenge was to explain the business through a clear proposition that made its value relevant to all three.
The strategic decision.
We positioned LOCSTOC around the neighbourhood store’s potential to connect local customers with a wider world of products. The strategy brought together the reach of digital commerce and the convenience, familiarity and trust of local retail.
What changed.
The strategy defined a distinct promise for each audience. Brand owners gained a proposition around easier access to neighbourhood markets and greater visibility of sales and demand. For retailers, it was digital tools to manage stock, improve purchasing and develop additional revenue opportunities. For consumers, it was greater choice and price transparency through a trusted local store.
Evidence of the result.
The work established a positioning framework, stakeholder value propositions, brand values and a personality combining community warmth with practical competence. The central promise brought the strategy together: “A Bigger World, Just Around the Corner.”
