Colombo’s real estate landscape is beginning to see a significant change and noteworthy within this environment is Colombo City Centre, an integrated living experience that stages Colombo’s first mall, hotel and apartments in one place. The development is being created by a joint venture between Singapore based SilverNeedle Hospitality and Abans Group in Sri Lanka.
With it’s positioning as the ‘Heart of the City’, Identity Counsel led the strategic and creative path in building on the idea of a ‘life, out of the ordinary’. The approach involved a holistic approach from identifying key markets globally for investors to seek as well as key drivers for the local Sri Lankan population. The 360 degree approach was planned to build and heighten three dimensions – evoke a sense of pride, build community consciousness and stage it a as iconic landmark in the changing skyline of Colombo. A series of initiatives ranging from events, to digital targeting, advertising, CRM and PR were brought together in a concerted effort to building a brand that drove unprecedented sales and interest towards the development.
